tungsten alloy introduction
High specific gravity tungsten alloy is tungsten as the matrix material (tungsten content of 85%~99%) with a small amount of nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), Mo (Mo), Chromium (Cr) and other metal binder composition of an alloy material, also known as high density tungsten alloy or heavy alloy. The density of high specific gravity tungsten alloy can reach 16.5~19.0g/cm3.
More commonly used are: W-Ni-Cu and W-Ni-Fe two series. This material has remarkable characteristics in physical properties such as density, strength, hardness, ductility, conductivity/thermal properties, so it is widely used in the national defense industry, aerospace industry, medical industry, electrical industry and other industries.
