1  Make sure all bolts that hold the die on the press are tight and secure.  

2 The feed step is set correctly.  Overfeeding or underfeeding can lead to mis-feeding and mold damage.  

3.  The mold is located on the punch press.  Placing the die in an asymmetrical position on the punch can cause load imbalance of the slide and lead to die shearing and other die damage.  

4.  The end of the material.  The end of the material passing through the die may result in half cutting and half forming.  

5.  The closing height of the press is set correctly and not lower.  

6.  No loosening of the coil occurred, especially during the first feeding.
