What are difference of tungsten cylinder sizes?
Differences in Diameter
Tungsten cylinder counterweight blocks are available in a wide range of diameters. In small precision equipment applications, diameters may be as small as a few millimeters. Medium-sized blocks may have diameters between tens and hundreds of millimeters and are suitable for general weighting needs such as sports equipment, fishing gear, etc.
Large counterweights may have diameters of several hundred millimeters or even larger, and are suitable for scenarios requiring large mass counterweights, such as counterweights for transportation (e.g., automobiles, airplanes, and ships), counterweights for balancing of large machinery and equipment, and so on.
Difference in height
The height of the short and fat counterweight is relatively low, but the diameter is large, suitable for the application scenario that requires a large bottom area to maintain stability. The height of the tall and thin tungsten cylinder counterweight is relatively high, but the diameter is small, which is suitable for the counterweight needing higher center of gravity or limited space. For example, in the ballast weights of large oil tankers, the height of tungsten cylinder counterweights may reach 3 - 5 meters, and the center of gravity of the ship can be adjusted by arranging these tall cylindrical counterweights to improve the stability of the ship during navigation.
